Lakes, lakes, and lakes;
The humidity, I swore
was getting ready to kill me
as I sweated along every walk
trudging through the moist air
with her hand in mind;

I walked into the lake,
one day,
and the cold overtook me,
leaving me with a curiousity;
I swam out further, and witnessed
a family of fish following us.

I had never seen
so much vibrant green
in my life
as I did
those two weeks
on vacation.

She made me smile.
